Frequently Asked Questions

Everything you need to know about Royaledly's 7 Clash Royale daily puzzle games.

General

What is Royaledly?
Royaledly is a free daily puzzle hub for Clash Royale fans offering seven Wordle-style mini-games: Classic Wordle, Pixel Quiz, Description Quiz, Emoji Quiz, Sound Quiz, Higher or Lower, and Ultimate Challenge. Each of the six daily modes presents a new mystery card every 24 hours at midnight UTC, while Higher or Lower runs as an endless game with no reset. No account, download, or login is required — all game progress and streaks are stored locally in your browser.
When do the daily puzzles reset?
All six daily game modes reset every 24 hours at midnight UTC. The mystery card for each mode is seeded by the current UTC date, so every player worldwide sees the same card on the same day regardless of their local time zone. Higher or Lower is the only mode with no daily reset — it is an endless game playable at any time. After completing a daily mode, it locks until the next UTC midnight.
Is Royaledly affiliated with Supercell?
Royaledly is an independent fan site and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by, or approved by Supercell Oy. Clash Royale, its card names, artwork, and all related trademarks and intellectual property are the property of Supercell Oy. Royaledly operates strictly as fan-created content in accordance with the Supercell Fan Content Policy.
Is Royaledly free to play?
Yes, completely free. There are no ads, no premium tiers, no microtransactions, and no account required. All seven game modes are available to everyone at no cost. Your game progress, daily streaks, and stats are stored in your browser's local storage — nothing is sent to a server.
Do I need to create an account?
No account is needed. Royaledly runs entirely in the browser without any backend or database. Your streak, daily progress, and game history are all stored in your browser's local storage. Clearing your browser data will reset your progress, so avoid clearing site data if you want to keep your streak.

Classic Wordle

How do I play Clash Royale Wordle?
Type any Clash Royale card name to guess the mystery card. After each guess, you receive color-coded feedback across five stat categories: elixir cost, rarity, card type, target type, and arena. A green highlight means your guess matches the mystery card exactly for that stat. An up or down arrow means the mystery card's numeric stat is higher or lower than your guess. Use the growing grid of clues to systematically narrow down the card pool. You have unlimited guesses and every player worldwide solves the same mystery card each day.
How many guesses do I get in Clash Royale Wordle?
Clash Royale Wordle has no guess limit — you can keep trying until you find the correct card. The color-coded clue grid grows with each attempt, giving you more information with every guess. Experienced players who know every card's exact stats can often solve the puzzle in two or three guesses. Players still learning the full card pool may need more attempts. Only your daily streak tracks your performance — there is no penalty for extra guesses.
What do the clue colors mean in Clash Royale Wordle?
After each guess, Clash Royale Wordle shows color-coded feedback for five stat categories. Elixir cost uses an arrow to indicate if the mystery card costs more or less elixir than your guess, or green for an exact match. Rarity compares card tiers — Common, Rare, Epic, Legendary, or Champion. Card type distinguishes troops, spells, and buildings. Target type shows whether the card targets ground only, air and ground, or buildings. Arena reveals whether the mystery card unlocks at a higher, lower, or equal arena to your guess.

Pixel Quiz

How does the Clash Royale Pixel Quiz work?
A Clash Royale card's artwork is shown heavily pixelated at the start. Your task is to identify the card from its blurry, blocky colors and shapes before it becomes too obvious. Study the overall silhouette, dominant colors, and any recognizable visual features. Type a card name to submit your guess. Each wrong guess causes the image to become progressively less pixelated, revealing more detail. The fewer guesses you need, the more impressive your performance. Every player worldwide sees the same pixelated card each day.
Does the image change with each wrong guess?
Yes — every incorrect guess makes the pixelated artwork clearer. At the start the image is at maximum pixelation, making it very difficult to identify. With each wrong guess, one level of blur is removed, revealing more of the card's actual artwork. There is no limit on guesses; eventually the image becomes fully clear. Skilled players who can read silhouettes and color patterns at maximum pixelation can solve it in one or two guesses.

Description Quiz

How does the Clash Royale Description Quiz work?
The Description Quiz takes a Clash Royale card's official in-game flavor text and hides most of the words behind blank placeholders. Study the visible words, the count and length of hidden words, and the overall sentence structure to reason about which card it might be. Type a card name to guess. Each wrong answer reveals additional words from the hidden description, giving you more context with every attempt. Official card descriptions often contain clues about a card's role, origin, or behavior.
What are good strategies for the Description Quiz?
Start by counting the number of hidden words and their approximate lengths — long words narrow down the options significantly. Look for any visible words that are specific to a card type, element, or faction. If you see words like 'skeleton', 'freeze', 'spawns', or 'arena' visible early, use them to filter by card category. Committing a guess even when unsure is worthwhile because each wrong answer reveals more of the description to work with.

Emoji Quiz

How does the Clash Royale Emoji Quiz work?
Four emojis represent a mystery Clash Royale card. Each emoji is a clue related to the card's visual appearance, in-game behavior, name, lore, or mechanics — there is no single formula. Some clues are direct visual references; others require lateral thinking. Analyze all four emojis together as a group rather than in isolation. Type a card name to submit your guess. If wrong, keep guessing — there is no limit. Every player worldwide receives the same four-emoji set each day, resetting at midnight UTC.
How are the emoji clues chosen?
Each set of four emojis is handcrafted to represent the mystery card from different angles. One emoji might represent what the card looks like, another what it does in battle, a third might reference its lore or origin, and a fourth might be a wordplay on its name. The difficulty varies — some days the connection is obvious, other days it requires lateral thinking. There is no algorithmic generation; the clues are intentional creative choices.

Sound Quiz

How does the Clash Royale Sound Quiz work?
A Clash Royale card's in-game audio plays at the start of the Sound Quiz — this could be a deployment sound, an attack sound, or a special ability sound like the Mega Knight's earthquake landing. Press play to hear the clip, then type a card name to submit your guess. If wrong, the same audio is available to replay as many times as needed. Players with hours of Clash Royale gameplay will often recognize iconic sounds immediately. Puzzles reset at midnight UTC.
Can I replay the sound clip as many times as I want?
Yes, there is no limit on audio replays. The same clip is available throughout your entire session. You can listen as many times as needed before making a guess, and you can replay it between guesses as well. There is also no limit on the number of guesses — the Sound Quiz is pure recognition challenge with no artificial restrictions.

Higher or Lower

How does Clash Royale Higher or Lower work?
Clash Royale Higher or Lower is an endless stat-comparison game. A card is shown alongside a specific stat — hitpoints, damage, or elixir cost. A second card is partially revealed and you must guess whether its value for the same stat is higher or lower than the first. A correct guess extends your streak. An incorrect guess ends the run and resets your streak to zero. The game draws from the full Clash Royale card pool across all rarities from Common to Champion. There is no daily reset.
Is Higher or Lower daily or endless?
Higher or Lower is the only endless mode on Royaledly — it has no daily reset and can be played at any time without limit. Unlike the six daily puzzle games, there is no seed-of-the-day or shared puzzle. Each session draws cards randomly from the full pool. Your personal best streak is saved in your browser's local storage, so you can track your improvement over time without needing an account.
What stats are used in Higher or Lower?
The game compares three core numerical stats: hitpoints (how much damage a card can take before being destroyed), damage (how much a card deals per hit or activation), and elixir cost (the resource spent in-game to deploy the card, ranging from 1 to 9). All rarities are included — Common, Rare, Epic, Legendary, and Champion — so familiarity with the entire card roster gives a significant advantage.

Ultimate Challenge

What is the Clash Royale Ultimate Challenge?
The Clash Royale Ultimate Challenge combines all five daily game modes — Classic Wordle, Pixel Quiz, Description Quiz, Emoji Quiz, and Sound Quiz — into a single gauntlet focused on the same mystery card. Unlike the individual daily modes, the Ultimate Challenge uses one shared card across all five stages and a single pool of 25 total attempts. Every guess in any stage draws from the same 25, so managing attempts strategically is essential.
How does the shared 25-attempt pool work?
Every guess you submit in any of the five stages reduces the shared pool of 25 attempts. There is no separate guess budget per mode. If you spend 8 guesses on Classic Wordle and 5 on Pixel, only 12 remain for Description, Emoji, and Sound combined. Exhausting all 25 attempts before completing all five stages ends the session for the day. The optimal strategy is to solve each stage quickly and not get stuck on any single mode.
Does solving one stage help with the others?
Yes — because all five stages in the Ultimate Challenge use the same mystery card, identifying the card in any one stage gives you the answer for the others. If you figure out the card from Classic Wordle's stat clues, you can immediately submit the correct card name in Pixel, Description, Emoji, and Sound without spending additional guesses reasoning through each one.
