Clash Royale Ultimate Challenge combines all five daily games of Royaledly into one sequence. Each stage is a different game mode and you need to complete it to advance to the next one. Every stage has its own answer card and the same card can't be repeated across the five stages.

Hard mode caps the attempts to 20 instead of 25. You can toggle it on or off at any time, except if you try to turn it on with 5 or less attempts left, the game will end immediately.

You get 25 attempts shared across all five stages, or 20 in hard mode. You can spend as many as you want on one stage, but whatever you use is gone for the rest of the game.
